Graphite Drawing

I have been drawing using graphite
all my life, although I have a fair
way to go when it comes to catching
up with the masters, I am incredibly
happy with the progress I've made overall.
I love the slickness of the lead, and
how quicky I can spit out an image of
something. Recent attempts to completely
remove any thick outlines on subjects
has significantly improved how I view
the medium overall.

Pixel Art

I think pixel art in general is
responsible for making me who I
am today. When I was young, I would
attempt to save the artpieces of games
like the legendary starfy, drawn
to life, and scribblenauts. I was
obsessed with collecting them and
would end up with lined notebooks
filled with different pieces of
foliage and environmental decal.
My first actual pixel art was of
the turrets from portal, and I'd
get really frustrated because I'd
keep saving them as JPG's without
knowing what that was, causing the
final image to become bitcrushed
I currently use a combination of
MSPaint and Paint.net to create
most of my pixel art. Most of my
friends are pixel artists, and we
continuously help eachother
improve by honing the craft and
discovering new methods to achieve
specific results within
certain limitations.
